Campus Ministry Team

Father Norbert Jurek
(Campus Minister/Chaplain)

Native of Poland, Father Norbert was ordained in 2011 and moved to the U.S. in 2015. He first worked at St. Ignatius Parish in Mobile and then St. Michael’s in Auburn. More than anything else, he loves to help people to discover that God is real and at work today in His Church. Being a spiritual father to college students is something that he feels called to and hopes that many students at South will experience God’s healing power through the CSA ministry. In his free time he enjoys biking, hiking and reading.

Emma Zanotelli
(Campus Ministry Assistant)

Emma graduated in 2015 from Franciscan University with degrees in Social Work and Theology. She loves spending time with students at the University of South Alabama and walking alongside them during this exciting time of life in College. Her hope for the students of USA is that they might know how deeply known and loved they are by God the Father.

Focus Missionaries

The CSA is blessed with a group of missionaries who are passionate about changing the world and helping students to live a life of purpose. You’ll often find them playing sports, watching movies or going for coffee. They lead small group Bible studies aimed at fostering community and transforming lives.
